Vogue 9889

Vogue 9889; ca. 1978; Misses' Coat and Detachable Lining. Very loose-fitting, lined, double-breasted coat, three-quarter length, four inches below mid-knee, or mid-calf length, has shaped collar on band, wide lapels, buttoned shoulder epaulets worn through carriers, buttoned front left yoke shield, pockets with buttoned flaps and back yoke shield. Center back inverted pleat has buttoned tab closing. Full-length raglan sleeves have buckled sleeve bands worn through carriers. With or without self tie belt with buckle and eyelet trim, worn through carriers, holding in fullness at waistline. Detachable buttoned lining with detachable buttoned shaped collar on band, has wrist-length raglan sleeves. Topstitching. Purchased skirt and pants.
