Vogue 8696; ca. 1940; One-Piece Dress. This dress features the draped bodice. Three-piece skirt in long or regulation length and long fitted or short draped sleeves. A straight extension band outlines the deep V neck, forms a drawstring through casings below neck and at waist, where ends tie in a bow. The skirt is flared at front and joins the bodice on a shaped seam below waist.
