Vogue 8672; ca. 1940; One-Piece Dress and Jacket. One-piece dress with a buttoned-front blouse closing, shaped neck-line and short darted-top sleeves. Released pleats below bust and gathers below slash provide soft front blouse fullness. The flaring six-gored skirt joins the blouse under a novelty belt. The dart-fitted jacket with broad padded shoulders and notched collar, has a panelled back and choice of one or two-button closing. Flap-finished hip pockets and long two-piece sleeve or three-quarter length one-piece sleeve.
