Vogue 8221; ca. 1980s; MISSES' MATERNITY DRESS, TOP & PANTS. DRESS/TOP: Loose-fitting pullover top or dress. Dress is 4 in. below mid knee or evening length with round neckline or collar extending into tie ends, front pleated into self-lined shaped yoke with buttoned shoulder closing, side seam pockets and short tulip sleeves gathered at cap or full length sleeves gathered at cap and into buttoned cuffs. PANTS: Tapered Pants have elasticized waistline and purchased front stretch panel.
SUGGESTED FABRICS: Soft or Crisp fabrics. Crepe de Chine Wool Crepe, Tissue Faille, Challis and Jersey. Also Georgette for Dress or Top.
