Vogue Americana 2639; ca. 1971/72; James Galanos - Misses' Evening Dress. Shirtdress, two inches below knee or above ankle length, has front zipper closing, fitted bodice with slightly raised waistline, bias pointed collar and full length sleeves gathered into buttoned cuffs. Smocked skirt, with or without front slit, welt pockets and topstitch trim.
