Vogue American Designer 2286; ca. 1979; Bill Blass - Misses' Jacket and Dress. Semi-fitted, lined, above-hip length jacket has slightly extended shoulders, shoulder pads, front snapped closing, side front and side back seams (no side seams) and full length two-piece sleeves. Floor length dress with bias lined-to-edge bodice, fitted through the bustline, has slim, straight skirt gathered into waistline seam, back zipper closing, multiple pleats above deep center front hemline slit and very narrow hem finished by hand or by machine. Skirt has no side seams. Jacket and dress trimmed with purchased ribbon bows. Purchased belt.
