Vogue's Basic Design 2033; ca. 1979; Misses' Top, Tunic or Dress. Very loose-fitting, above-hip length top or above mid-knee length tunic, or dress, seven inches below mid-knee or evening length with front and back gathered into narrow bias front buttoned neckband, has round neckline, extended shoulders, front-buttoned band closing and edgestitching and top stitching. Full-length sleeves are gathered at cap and elasticized at lower edge; may be worn pushed up. Dress and tunic have pockets in side seams. Worn with or without purchased belt.
