Vogue 1760

Vogue Paris Original 1760; ca. 1977; Christian Dior - Misses' Jacket, Blouse, Skirt and Pants. Semi-fitted, lined jacket, below-hip length, has notched collar, front-buttoned closing, shoulder pads, welt pockets (lower have flaps) and side panels (no side seams). Two-piece full-length sleeves with mock vent closing and button and buttonhole trim. Loose-fitting blouse has pointed collar on shaped front-buttoned band, self lined back yoke with forward shoulder seams, center back attached tie ends, front-buttoned closing and full-length placket sleeves pleated into narrow buttoned cuffs. Edgestitching and topstitching. Slightly A-line skirt, three inches (7,5cm) below mid-knee or wide, straight-legged cuffed pants with front tucked into waistband have self carriers, mock fly front zipper closing and pockets in side seams. Purchased belt.
