Vogue American Designer 1281; ca. 1976; Oscar de La Renta - Misses' Dress. Four inches below mid-knee or evening length dress has bias pointed collar, front snap closing and pockets in side seams. Surplice bodice is gathered into one-piece yoke and into waistline. Slightly flared gathered skirt. Full, full-length sleeves are gathered at cap and into buttoned cuffs. Attached wrap and tied sash. Topstitch trim. With or without underskirt and bodice underlining.
