Vogue1251

Vogue Designer Original 1251; ca. 1975; Belinda Belville - Misses' Bridal Dress, Petticoat and Veil. Evening, ankle or mid-calf length dress has square neckline, front and back yoke, front gathers and three or four-tiered gathered skirt fitted at waistline; above elbow length sleeves gathered into bands, or full length sleeves gathered into cuffs with button and loop closing, are gathered at caps and set into square armholes. Draped bias belt has hook and eye closing. Separate petticoat with two gathered tiers and hem ruffle, darted into inside grosgrain ribbon or non-roll elastic waistline, has back zipper closing. Bridal illusion gathered to back of scull cap has self bias band extending to tied bow at back. With or without purchased lace and flower trim.

Note: Guide given to cut veil up to 3 yards long (as shown).
