  • Hi! I appreciate your continued efforts to keep the listings tidy, but please let expired listings alone. One of mine expired MINUTES before you deleted it! A while back it was on Tarna's wall where she mentioned that expired listings can stay on, to give the vendor a chance to edit and relist. Thanks!

    • Where did I mention that??

Clearly expired listings can be removed.  Sometimes, there will be a case like yours, and it can be mildly frustrating, but there is no way for the person cleaning up the listings to know (they cannot see the listing details once the listing is expired)...

    • Thanks for you reply - it was quite a while ago, probably at least a year. I don't remember the specifics, but it was a question about removing listings. Your answer referred to links that were no longer viable, including sold and inaccurate websites but (and I may have not read it correctly) "unavailable" listings were OK to leave. Yes, it is frustrating to find my listing removed, and it happens so very often - almost eerily so! I tend to keep no more than a few expired listings in my shop so it is very noticable when they are removed. It's fine ... I can deal with it, and sorry if I misunderstood; but like I said, it seems so odd that my expired listings are removed so very quickly! :-) Have a good week ahead!

    • ... and to make it official: We should absolutely remove all "unavailable" (expired) listings? Thanks-

    • Thank you for understanding.  There are so many out-of-date links, the clean-ups are sadly necessary.

    • OK! Will pass this on to my Etsy team members, I know some of them have wondered this in the past, too.
