Stretch & Sew 399; ©1990; Drawstring Bigshirt and Jacket. These garments are oversized. All views feature an encased drawstring at waist, dropped shoulders and long sleeves with ribbed cuffs. Drawstrings can be purchased or made from self-fabric and are pulled through grommets or buttonholes at center front. Lower edges are hemmed. View A is a cowl-neck pullover with shirttail hem and rounded chest pocket. Shirttail hem is topstitched. Cowl can be from ribbing or knit self-fabric with at least 25% stretch. Woven fabric should not be used for cowl. View B is a hooded jacket with rounded patch pockets and buttons down the front. The hood has a drawstring. Garment is topstitched down the front. View C is a faced jacket with buttons down the front. Garment is topstitched down the front and at neck.
