Spadea S-338; ca. 1957; Dress by Pierre Cardin of France. One of the prettiest versions of the high Empire line. Twisted bias folds that form an effective, flattering neckline continue around to the back of the shoulders where they are stitched into the sleeves which can be either very short or three quarter.

Featured in a Spadea catalog in 1957.
