Spadea Designer Pattern N-1327; ©1964; by American Tom Brigance who designed for Jaeger of London and Lord & Taylor. Well known for his casual and beach wear.
With long darts in the front and a slightly A-frame, Brigance has cleverly whittled away all that unnecessary material leaving only the natural grace of the well molded shift. The side slits and inverted pleat were made for easy walking, but they also make walking look very pretty. Side pockets shown.
