Spadea N-1223; postmarked 1963; Bill Blass of Maurice Rentner - Here, the waistline is marked with a narrow cording; the skirt has soft gathers that allow it to hang straight without extra fullness. The bodice, with only two strategically placed darts to indicate the bustline, has a marvelous neck motif of self fabric, lined and finished and then slip-stitched to the dress itself.
