Simplicity 9008; ©1988; Jessica McClintock for Gunne Sax - Misses' Brides' and Bridesmaids' Dress: Lined sheer dress with very full tiered skirt stitched to fitted bodice below waistline has "V" front and back yokes, gathered sleeves, back zipper and loop and button closing. Floor length V. 1 and 2 have lace and ribbon trim. V. 1 and 3 have above elbow length puffy sleeves gathered to band. V. 2 has leg-o-mutton sleeves with loop and button closing. V. 3 is tea length. All views have attached net crinoline.
Fabrics: Dress in sheer fabrics: dotted swiss, lawn, organdy, organza. V.3 also in soft semi-sheers: batiste. Lining of taffeta, cotton broadcloth, lightweight satin, crisp lining fabrics. Not suitable for stripes, plaids, or obvious diagonals. Extra fabric needed to match one-way design fabrics.
