This is a nice little pattern -- especially for Ken-type dolls. It has a pretty good range of boy-styles plus patterns for a wide range of sewing skills. Newbie that I am, I deeply appreciate the kimono sleees on the dashiki & the raglan sleeves on the cardigan. Both the jacket & dress shirt have set-in sleeves which were difficult (4 me) but not as painful/traumatic as the boy's jacket in McCall's 2207 B (my only other attempt at sewing this kind of thing). Slacks have elastic waist but aren't too baggy & it is easy enough to re-work them to have a proper waistband. I only made the gown because a friend reminded me I owed him (ppl do keep track). It was easy enough but the back overlap had to be almost doubled to fit better. Also, eliminated the ruffle at the bottom & lengthened the skirt about an inch. The girl doll is Mattel's "Francine", 1966. The boy doll is from Mattel's My Scene series.
