Simplicity 5839; ©1973; Misses' Boxer-Top Pants or Shorts and Elastic-Top Pants: V. 1, 2 & 3 have fly front zipper closing and buttoned, top-stitched tabs. The top-stitched boxer-top pants V. 1 or shorts V. 2 with shaped patch pockets caught in side seams have waistband gathered to elastic casings. Elastic-top pants V. 3 with turn back cuffs has waistband made of either multi-color elasticized grosgrain ribbon or novelty elastic.
