Simplicity 5018, from 1963. Misses' and Women's Surplice Blouse. In this draped blouse, the right front crosses over the left and both end in back in a buttoned belt. The blouse back is cut longer than the front to tuck in under the skirt; the front covers the skirt waistband but does not tuck in. An elastic stay holds the front waistline in place. V. 1 has 3/4 length sleeves with an elbow dart. V. 2 has short sleeves.
