Simplicity 4872; ca. 1963; Child's One-piece Jiffy Dress. Simple to make dress has a high rounded neckline, very short kimono sleeves, and an inverted pleat at center front. Neckline fastens at back with a loop and button, and a zipper closing may be used. Version 1. has a contrasting collar with squared ends, and the ribbon bow at center front is a third color. Version 2. is collarless and has rick-rack trim of contrasting color. This view features 4 buttons at center front, or contrasting patch pockets.
