Simplicity 4700

Simplicity 4700; ca. 1944; Misses' and Women's Hat and Gloves. The visor and band of Style I are interfaced with tailor's canvas to make them stiff. The back section may hang loose or encircle the head and fasten at the top or in the front. Style II may be trimmed with a pin, clip, or flowers. Make small hat pins to be used in the back of the hat. Style III is trimmed with stiff cord made of self-fabric. The gloves may be made in short or gauntlet length.
