Simplicity 4696; ©1954; Men's Beach Shirt and Swim Shorts - Father and Son Fashion: for Son Pattern, see Simplicity 4693. Swim shorts are lined and have elastic at the waist. A pointed pocket flap buttons to the shorts over a side front pocket. The shirt has a shoulder yoke, a pointed collar, and an opening at the lower edge at the sides. View 1 shirt features breast pockets. View 2 shorts, of contrasting fabric, may be trimmed with braid over the side seams. Shirt front has pockets at the lower edge.
