Simplicity4065a

Simplicity 4065; ca. 1942; Misses' and Junior Misses' Dance Frock. The neckline, cut in a low square at the front, is trimmed with three rows of lace ruffling, and the short, puffed sleeves create a dainty shoulder line. The bodice is top-stitched to the voluminous, gathered skirt at the natural waistline, and is shaped to a waist-minimizing point. Three rows of lace ruffling trim the skirt in harmony with the neckline. In Style II, no ruffling or contrast are used. Side placket.
