Simplicity 3118; ©1949; Child's Dress With Panties: A back-buttoned closing and shaped front yoke are features of the bodice. the dirndl skirt joins the bodice just above the natural waistline, and tie ends, coming from the front seams, form a bow in back. Style 1 or 2 has a Peter Pan collar. In Style 1 a self ruffle outlines the yoke. Long sleeves, gathered at the lower edge, are finished with wristbands, and the collar and wristbands are in contrast. Style 2 or 3 has puffed sleeves. In Style 2 the yoke is tucked. Lace edging trims the collar, yoke and sleeves. Style 3 has a round neckline. The yoke and skirt pockets are made of eyelet. Embroidered edging is used as trimming. Elastic at the waistline and leg fit the panties.
