Simplicity 2964; ©1949; MISSES' ONE-PIECE ANKLE AND FLOOR LENGTH DRESS WITH STOLE. Darts in front and back fit the décolleté bodice which is styled with an off-the-shoulder bertha collar. The dirndl skirt joins to the bodice at the natural waistline. Style 1, the floor length gown, has a gathered overskirt and stole made of net or lace. A ribbon sash at the waist ties in a bow at the back. Style 2, ankle length, has a piped waistline. The bertha collar and skirt are in contrast to the bodice.
