Simplicity 2944; ca. 1938; Misses' Dress. A tailored version of the perennially popular shirtmaker. Bodice, which buttons down front, has top-stitched insets that form pockets and give the illusion of pleats. The pleated skirt joins bodice at waistline. Style 1 has a small collar, long, set-in sleeves and buckled belt. Style 2 has a tie collar and belt; short sleeves.
