Simplicity 2942; ©1949; Misses' Skirt and Bolero Jackets: The four-gored skirt is fitted with darts at the waistline. A simulated fly hides a center front pleat. A shaped waistband and large, flap-trimmed patch pockets are featured. Top-stitching trims the the pockets. The short bolero, styled with a four-button closing, has three-quarter sleeves with turned-back cuffs. Top-stitching finishes the large, flap-trimmed patch pockets and rounded collar.
