Simplicity 2629; ©1949; Girls' One-Piece Dress: Ruffling outlines the shaped yoke in front and buttons secure the opening in the bodice back. The flared skirt is cut in two sections and has a continuous lap opening in back. A tie belt encircles the waist and forms a soft bow. Style 1 has has double ruffling along the yoke seam, armhole edges and to lower edge of the skirt. Bows enhance the yoke and skirt ruffling. In Style 2, embroidered edging trims the three-quarter sleeve which is gathered at the upper edge and held in above the elbow with elastic drawn through casing. A bound neck edge finishes the contrasting yoke and embroidered ruffling outlines the lower edge of the skirt.
