Simplicity 2544; ©1948; Child's Robe and Slippers: The robe features a shawl collar, rounded patch pockets and a tie belt. The collar is cut on one with the robe front and faced. The open-toe slipper, cut in two sections, is made of quilted fabric and bound with bias fold tape. In Style 1, an applique design, for which a printed guide is included, trims the pocket. In Style 2, braid outlines the collar, front, sleeve and pocket edge.
