1948 bloused sleeve or puffed sleeve peasant blouse. Courtesy www.vintagemartini.com.||
Misses' Blouse: The blouse, styled with a raglan-type sleeve, is fitted with tucks at the front and back waistline. The scooped-out neckline is gathered and bound. Style I features an applied bias, roll trim which is slip-stitched to the blouse. The long gathered sleeves are finished with a tie bow at the lower edge. In Style 2, embroidered ruffling trims the neck. Styles 2 and 3 have puffed sleeves, bound at the lower edge.
