Simplicity 2302; ©1948; Maternity Dress and Jacket: The front-buttoning bodice, styled with a slotted neckline, has short sleeves. Front gathers are featured on the skirt which joins the bodice at the waistline. The tie belt is stitched to the front only and hangs loosely from the side front to allow for adjustment. The flared jacket which buttons in front has a round collar and patch pockets. The long, loose sleeve turns back to form a cuff. Lining is optional. Top-stitching trims the collar, pockets and cuffs.
