Simplicity 2223; ©1957; Jr. Misses' and Misses' Wedding Gown in Two Lengths and Bridesmaids' Dress: Simple, flattering lines make this a lovely choice for the bride and her attendants. All views have basque bodice with kimono sleeves; scoop neckline; full skirt with deep inverted pleats front and back. V. 1, full length gown, has long sleeves pointed and buttoning at lower edge. V. 2, street length dress, has short sleeves. Upper edge of center front seam is left open to form notch.

Suggested fabric types - Both views: Cottons, brocade, rayons, silks, taffeta, shantung, silk-linen, faille, satin, peau de soie, crystalette. V. 2 also in: Velveteen.
