Simplicity 2168; ©1945; Misses' and Women's House Dress and Housecoat: The surplice bodice features tucks at the front shoulder and the cap sleeves fit into slightly lowered, squared armholes. The bodice and skirt are softly gathered to a slim inset belt. The skirt has inside pockets at the sides and a side-button closing with a simulated fly below. Tie ends are attached to the inset belt and fasten in a bow. In Style I and III, a pointed collar trims the V neckline.

First issued in 1943 as Simplicity 1593.
