Ribbon is drawn through the neckline casing and elastic is inserted through casing at the lower edge of sleeves. The dirndl skirt is cut in two sections and gathered to a waist band. In Style I, lace edging trims the sleeves and neck edge. Ribbon lacings are drawn through the eyelets of the wide, shaped belt, and tie at the center front.
