Simplicity 1222; ©1945; Misses' and Women's Blouse: The button-front blouse is styled with tucks at front waistline and dart tucks at back waistline. A forward shoulder seam releases soft front fullness and the blouse is finished with an applied front band. In Style 1, top stitching trims the soft fabric loops at neckline, front band and wrist bands. Styles 2, 3, 4 are fashioned with a single or double ruffling inserted between front band and blouse front. The sleeves may be long or short, with cuffs, ruffle trimmed or plain.
