Simplicity 1170

Simplicity 1170; ©1944; Women's Blouse: The button-front blouse is styled with a forward shoulder seam which releases soft gathers in the blouse front. Styles I and II have revers cut in one with the blouse front. In Style I, a double bias ruffle outlines the front, revers and neck. Style II has a patch pocket on the left side and a one-button closing. Snaps replace the other buttons. Style III features a high round neckline and front band. A pleated jabot is gathered between band and blouse front. Style IV has a notched collar and patch pocket. Top-stitching is used for trimming.
