Simplicity 1042; ©1944; Misses & Women's Dress: Waist is styled with gathers at the upper and lower edges and finished with a shoulder yoke. The skirt is seamed on either side of the center front and back. Style 1 buttons to the hip and the skirt is finished with a pleat below the button closing. Matching or saddle stitching trims the color, rever, pocket and cuff of the three-quarter sleeve. Style 2 buttons down the front. Self-ruffling trims the low, rounded neckline, waist front edge and short sleeve.
