Featured in Lebanon Daily News, November 3, 1956, stating “Fashion’s new entrance line – and one that looks to hold the stage from now through the coming resort season. Setting this important trend, the skirt that shows its back fullness in a totally new way – a floating panel of soft folds, stitched to the waist-clinching cummerbund. It’s a pretty contradiction that Prominent American Designer Isabel Dobson has created: soft fullness against the starkly simples lines of the sheath dress itself. Many ways flattering – Miss Dobson suggests sewing in faille, satin, taffeta, or wool crepe (cummerbund and panel in the same fabric or constrasting as you wish). For cruise and southern skies, fine silk would be equally lovely.”
