Pictorial Review 7057; ca. 1930s; Men's and Youth's Robe. The shawl-collared robe is a favorite with men, and is lapped over in front, held in place by a sash belt. Another favorite is the double-breasted closing with a notched collar and lapels. Braid or cord may be used as a trimming, and fringe for the sash-ends.
