New Idea 8714; Circa 1916-1917; Ladies' Dress; Suitable for maternity or general wear. Having a waist in open neck, with flaring collar which may be rolled down, one-seam sleeves in full length in either of two styles or in shorter length, an overblouse closed at shoulder and underarm, and a three-piece gathered skirt 39" in length or shorter. Collar and overblouse may be omitted. The embroidery design was adapted from transfer 356. In size 36 the skirt measures 2 3/4 yards at the lower edge.
