  • hello, you show the magazine Beyers Mode fuer Alle (4/1933). Do you also have a scan of the back cover? I owned the edition myself many years ago, but lost it - unfortunately - in the meantime. The backcover is an interesting advertisement for the book "Gutes und Böses in der Wohnung" (good and evil in the appartment) by Carl Burchard. it would be a great pleasure to see the page again! if you like contact me via anna.zika@fh-bielefeld.de
thanx a lot and have a good time, yours, anna

  • distinguish between McCall and McCall's patterns.  We enter them under the different names.  I will rename them as I come across the incorrect entries, but please enter as spelled on the pattern envelope from here on out.

    Lovely patterns, btw...

    Best regards,

  • ... please make sure to start from the Create button on the main page (click on the Vintage Pattern Wikia logo at top left to get there).

That way, you start from the correct template, and we will not have to recreate the format for each entry.

    Best regards,

    • Hi Tarna, oh I'm sorry, I didn't realize that... I used the 'contribute' drop down menu. I will use the 'create' button going forward. Thank you very much for letting me know. I hope the patterns I posted today were ok? Or should I recreate them or is there anything I need to do to fix them? Please do let me know if you need me to do anything with them.

      Kind regards,

      Annette

    • Dear Annette,

No problem.  We will fix them as we get the time.

    • Hi Tarna, sorry, one more question... I have some vintage German pattern magazines (e.g., Burda, Der Neue Schnitt etc). Would it be appropriate to post pictures of those as well, or just individual pattern envelopes? If so, how would you like me to title the pages? Something like Burda Magazine January 1950? They are magazines like this:  http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-50s-German-Fashion-Magazine-DER-NEUE-SCHNITT-March-1956-with-Patterns-/301903955816?hash=item464ae0c768:g:ijYAAMXQVT9Sva3h

Thank you very much for your advise! I really love the vintage sewing pattern wiki.

      Kind regards,

      Annette
