No, it wasn't a typo. It seems that the system is picking up my abbreviation for my picture in photo search when I am uploading a picture (I put the B at the end of my pics when the scan number is duplicated to indicate to me it is a Butterick pattern). I am sorry that you had to fix them, in the future I will enter the full pattern name and number when I upload a picture on the photo request screen page.
The system (i.e. your web browser) does not tend to pick up anything on its own, and it would not use only part of a previous entry. The picture name should have nothing to do with it. Maybe you do an accidental cut-and-paste when the little box appears that asks your what to name the new page.
There was a recent change to the default edit mode wikia made automatic - it's called VisualEditor. It is supposed to be easier, but I suspect it could oonfuse users familiar with the old way.
You can change your preferences back to the way you used to see the edits by following these steps:
Place your mouse or cursor over your user name in the upper right hand corner of the any pages(in the dark green area on the very top). You shiould see a drop-down menu including "My preferences". *Select "MyPreferences" *On that page, select the "Editing" tab *In the section "Editing Experience", select "Wikia's classic rich-text editor" *Make sure to click the tiny "Save" button at the bottom, and you should be all set.
Oh, thank you Tarna! It worked! It seems you can't teach an old dog new tricks... lol! I went to my team on Etsy to see if anyone could help; but no one had replied... I just saw your message, and I just saw the one from last year about "McCall's". I do appreciate all that you do for this site. Thanks bunches!
