  • Hello,

Please remember not to use all caps in your vendor link text.  E.g. use Factory Folded, not FACTORY FOLDED.

    Best regards.

  • I can't remember how to replace the photo when I sign in!

    • Hi,

On your user page, click on the little picture/photo at the top left that you previously uploaded.  You should see the option "edit avatar".  Select that and follow the steps to upload a new picture.

      Best regards,

  • Hi,

I noticed that you seem to be having some trouble editing in the new VisualEditor that wikia made default recently.

If you would like to switch back to the old way of seeing edits, here is how:

    • Place your mouse or cursor over your user name in the upper right hand corner of the any pages(in the dark green area on the very top).  You shiould see a drop-down menu including "My preferences".
      *Select "MyPreferences"
*On that page, select the "Editing" tab
*In the section "Editing Experience", select "Wikia's classic rich-text editor"
*Make sure to click the tiny "Save" button at the bottom, and you should be all set.

Let me know if you have questions.

    Best regards,

    tarna

    • Hi Tarna, Just wondering... would you replace the photo on McCall's 2216 if you had the pattern? Sometimes I am too critical about the photos. :-)

    • Hi,

No, that one looks just fine (overlooking the little sticker).  If a photo is clear and shows the complete envelope, you can just leave it.  Even a little yellowing just add patina.

Someone went through the trouble of uploading and entering, so I usually just leave them alone (or crop if too much background/whitespace), unless I have a significantly superior image.

      Hope this helps.
