McCall 824; ©1940; "Ladies' and Misses' Apron with Mittens and Mitt-Pockets. This apron has something that other aprons haven't got! Mittens - two pairs - that fit into mitt-shaped pockets. One pair is for pot holders, the other, made with palm side of Turkish toweling, is for mixing beverages. Convenient as can be. Apron, pockets and straps are bound with contrasting bias tape. Grape appliques are carried out with touches of embroidery."
