McCall 668; ©1939; Kaumagraph Transfer. Day of the Week Tea Towels in Appliqué. Pattern includes 7 designs (one for each day of the week) about 6 inches high and 6¼ inches wide. Also transfer pattern for patch pieces.
Every day of the week - and every day its task - that's the charming inspiration ot these quaint domestic scenes. The dresses and bonnets are sweet appliqued in bright cotton prints. The pet cat, always in his mistress' heels, is cunning wheter made of printed or plain material. The rest of the design is embroidered. Scraps of material can be used for the appliqué, but be sure that the material is of a good quality, guaranteed washable. The motifs may be developed in appliqué and embroidery as illustrated, or they may be worked entirely in embroidery, omitting the appliqué.
