McCall 509; ©1937; Ladies’ and Misses’ Bed Jacket. The little scatter sprays that trim this jacket are embroidered in a diversity of colors which gives them quite an out-of-the ordinary air. It’s very dainty embroidery, consisting of Frend knots and lazy daisy stitches for the flowers and fine outline for the stems. The jacket would be lovely made in crêpe de Chine or wash satin – or in albatross if extra warmth is desired.
