The pattern makes an evening dress or day dress and calls for wool jersey tubing or open rayon jersey. The pattern also includes pattern pieces for a guimpe to be worn under the tunic dress and for the shoulder pads. There is also a belt pattern included. The pattern includes a blue transfer for the smocking panel on the front of view F and full instructions on how to smock it. The evening dress has a front slit and smocking. The day dress can have a high collar or a modified sweetheart neckline. Guimpe has sleeves that extend out of the kimono sleeves of the dress and it ties at the side.
