McCall's 8587; ©1951; Misses' and Women's Accessory Dress.
The Accessory Dress The basic dress is famous for its slim, simple, smart lines--becoming to everyone! This one has a straight slender skirt that's easy to get around in, a single pocket, and a high or low neckline. The accessories include the following: a button on peplum with or without pockets. A short cape, cut in one piece and darted at the shoulders. And a jerkin with a hemline to waistline slit at either side, front and back tuck pleats--you will probably want it in a contrasting material.
