McCall's 8363; ©1966; Girls' Dress. Lightly fitted and flared shirtwaist dress has buttoned front bands, long or short set-in sleeves, inset and inverted pleat below front band. When striped fabric is used for long sleeved dress, front bands are cut crosswise. Long sleeve are gathered into buttoned bands of collar fabric. Bias tie is made of a third fabric. Short sleeved dress has self-fabric collar, sleeves turned back to form cuffs. Collar and long sleeve bands are interfaced. Either version is trimmed with machine stitching.
