McCalls Pattern 689 Vintage 30s Choir Cottas or Surplices for Boys and Girls dated 1939 (Originally issued as McCall 689). The surplice or cotta for vested choirs, in two of the styles most in demand. The plain style is the one generally preferred by men, though it is also used by women and boys. These cottas are also for girl choirs in either of the styles.
